Todd County, Kentucky Joins the ePN Network
August 9, 2021 – The Todd County Clerk’s Office has partnered with eRecording Partners Network (ePN) to bring eRecording to their Kentucky county effective August 9, 2021. The state of Kentucky passed legislation to allow counties to begin eRecording January 1, 2020.
With many Kentucky counties already eRecording since legislation passed, Clerk Cindy O’Bryan wanted to provide a convenient, secure and quicker way for attorneys, banks, and title companies to submit documents for recording into the public record. As county offices across the country began to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Todd County was positively motivated to move forward with electronic recording. Clerk O’Bryan promptly began working with her land record management system (LRMS) partner, Data Records Management Services (DRMS), to start the implementation process. DRMS is a premier county records management technology provider for many counties in the state of Kentucky.
“We are excited and nervous at the same time! As the first DRMS county to go-live with eRecording, we are anxious to move forward and smooth the path for other DRMS counties looking to get started with electronic recording,” expresses Cindy O’Bryan, Todd County Clerk.
“Our Team is grateful to have the opportunity to work with Todd County and DRMS to implement eRecording in Clerk O’Bryan’s office,” said Jerry Lewallen, ePN President. “As Todd County works through the transition, we want them to know we are with them through every step of their eRecording journey.” Todd County is the 27thKentucky county to join the ePN network.
ePN is one of the fastest growing national eRecording service providers. As recorders nationwide are making the necessary arrangements to implement eRecording in their offices, the ePN Team works closely with them to integrate their electronic recording technology with the jurisdictions’ land record systems. ePN is focused on building and maintaining a firm foundation of excellent service to counties and submitters.
